BAJAA(Bihar and Jharkhand Association Of Atlanta) was formed in year 2007 to interact amongst the American immigrants moved to Metro Atlanta area and originally from Bihar, Jharkhand and Eastern Uttar Pradesh origin, or their friends and relatives either connected to these regions or wants to be part of this association. The purpose of this association was to promote the culture of Bihar,Jharkhand and Eastern Uttar Pradesh, socialize and celebrate festivals with the same spirit and values as in India.
Assist community as and when needed and participate in other metro Atlanta events representing Bihar and Jharkhand heritage/cultures.
Extent support and worthy individuals or organizations, in the area of education,culture and extra-curricular activities, who are affiliated to state of Bihar and Jharkhand. Every year BAJAA families celebrates Holi,Summer Picnic and Diwali together in a traditional way.
To foster a sense of community among people from Bihar, Jharkhand, and Eastern Uttar Pradesh living in Metro Atlanta by promoting cultural heritage, celebrating traditional festivals, and supporting social, educational, and charitable initiatives. We aim to preserve and share our rich traditions while building a strong, supportive network for current and future generations.
To be a unifying platform for cultural exchange and community service, strengthening the bond among members while preserving and promoting the values, traditions, and heritage of Bihar and Jharkhand. We aspire to enrich lives through social engagement, educational support, and cultural celebrations while fostering a spirit of unity and inclusivity.
Over the years, BAJAA has been enriched by the dedication and contributions of its members Cultural Promotion: Hosting annual Holi, Diwali, and Summer Picnic celebrations to maintain cultural roots and offer a home-like experience.
